Empowering Your Recovery Journey

Our mission is to provide high-quality physiotherapy services tailored to your unique needs. With a thorough assessment and client-centred treatment plan, we aim to empower you with a comprehensive understanding of your condition and our strategy for your recovery. We understand the importance of swift action when it comes to physical injuries. That's why we strive to schedule appointments promptly, recognizing that delays can exacerbate your condition. Early intervention not only prevents the progression of chronic issues but also promotes faster healing and a greater likelihood of full recovery.

Your personalized treatment plan may encompass a variety of modalities, including physiotherapy, acupuncture, work-hardening, and supervised exercise programs. Initially, our focus is on alleviating pain and stabilizing your condition. As you progress, we focus on restoring strength, mobility, and function, all tailored to your specific needs.

While our goal is to restore you to your pre-injury level of function swiftly, we also prioritize equipping you with the knowledge and tools to manage your well-being independently, reducing the risk of future recurrences.

At Advantage Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation, your health and comfort are our top priorities. Let us guide you on your journey to recovery with compassionate care and effective treatments.

Penny Whitehouse PT, MCPA, MCPO – Founder & Owner

Penny started the Physiotherapy Centre in 1967, together with her husband Michael. Although he retired in 1999, Penny continues to be active at the clinic, and can still be found there as many as three days a week!

Penny loves interacting with seniors, who respond well to her empathy, not to mention her sweet and caring nature. “Being a senior myself, I can relate easily to many of the older patients, having experienced some of the same challenges,” she affirms.

When she’s not at the clinic, Penny enjoys spending time at home with her dogs. Although she’s also been bitten by the travel bug in the last few years.
